Jenna Santy

Jenna was born in Germany and now lives in Utah with her supportive husband and adorable border collie, Callie.

Having been diagnosed with Lamotrigine-induced DRESS Syndrome in 2019, Jenna experienced the distressing symptoms of high fever, severe rash, eosinophilia, and liver failure. While she feels fortunate to have received a quick diagnosis, her experience with DRESS led her to a deep sense of isolation and fear. She realizes that few people, including medical professionals, are familiar with the condition.

Following her recovery, Jenna was diagnosed with Sjögren's Syndrome with secondary Small Fiber Neuropathy, adding to her health challenges. Motivated by her own experience, Jenna has dedicated herself to advocating for awareness of DRESS and Sjögren's Syndrome. She actively engages in patient communities, offering support, raising awareness, and sharing hope with those facing similar battles. Jenna strongly believes in the power of unity within these communities, and the importance of mutual support and understanding. Her goal is to ensure that no one facing these conditions feels alone or unheard, while also encouraging others to stand up and advocate for themselves in their medical journeys.

In her free time, Jenna enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly, hiking in the mountains of Utah.
